Redkite can offer you the opportunity for you to train with your children, older siblings or guardians. The class works on promoting exercise and self defence to family groups.

The age group for children is 2.5 to 15 years old. They must be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over. Parental consent must be given for each child to train. A form must be filled out and signed by the parent (even if they're not the one attending with the child) and the child's birth certificate must be provided along with the adults ID so I can ensure that the parents are aware that the child is participating.

If the parent or guardian isn't the one training with the child, they must attend the first session and provide the relevant documents and authority along with the names and relationship of the persons intending to bring the child/children.

Younger children have a limited learning capacity. What we can do is introduce them to the idea of training. Parents bringing children below the age of 4 (this may vary per child) must be in charge of the safety of the younger child. If there is a younger child and an older child attending, there must be 2 responsible adults in attendance (though if this is not feasible, please get in touch to discuss). If a family has a number of children, depending on their age, one adult may suffice. Please inbox me to clarify.

The parents/guardians will train with their children and each other and the children will train with their parents and with other children where possible. We hope to create a relaxed and fun though disciplined training environment whilst implementing the strict rules necessary to keep people safe.

If you intend to attend a class, please book a place in advance (by the Monday evening prior). This way we can identify the ages of the students and thereby design a class that will suit.

We also run a Tiddlers session for the under 6's on a Saturday morning.
