Learn to love the challenge
Getting up in the morning is hard, exercising is hard, exercising in the morning is hard. And doing that consistently throughout life is certainly very hard.
So how do we do it? Learn to love it.
As humans we place value on things that are hard to achieve or acquire. Diamonds are valuable because they few and hard to mine. Roses are expensive because they don't last and are hard to grow. If we found diamonds everywhere, or roses grew on every road we wouldn't value them as greatly, they would simple be the norm, the baseline if you will.
The beauty and power of the physical ability of humans is the same. For thousands of years we have appreciated and admired those who's physical prowess or martial talent is greater than others. We gave them medals, loral wreaths, we made them champions and hero's.
We understand the work that has to be put in, all that time and dedication. It is hard, and that is why we admire it. That's why we value it.
If everyone was naturally a beast, that would become the new norm.
Without that struggle, those hundreds of ours placed, that time and discipline needed, it wouldn't have as much value.
Understand this and learn to love the process, learn to love the journey. You do not need motivation. You need to know, not think but know, that there will be struggle along the way. And at the end of it you will be a stronger and more capable person. And more than likely proud of your achievements. That struggle, those hard hours that other people are not doing, is what makes the end result worth something, it gives it value.
So embrace the journey
Stay Strong
